Burnin Island ILPS 9256 was originally released October 19 1973. Originally released when the group was still called The Wailers the Bob Marley part was added more recently. Bob Marley The Wailers appear on spines and disc. Track 11 recorded during Burnin sessions originally issued on 29 May 1973 as the b-side of Concrete Jungle (Island WIP 6164) Track 12 and 13 recorded during Burnin sessions previously unreleased. Recorded at Harry J. Studios Kingston Jamaica. Mixed at Island Studios London. Mastered from the original two tracks analog master tapes by Ted Jensen at Sterling Sound New York 2001. Reissue supervised by Bill Levenson and Maxine Stowe with special thanks to The Marley Family and Chris Blackwell.
